Great Glen Canoe Trail

Caledonian Canal, Scotland

The Great Glen Canoe Trail is a canoeing route from Fort William on the West (Atlantic) coast, to Inverness on the East  (North Sea) coast, following the Great Glen through Loch Linnhe, Loch Lochy, Loch Oich, Loch Ness & Loch Dochfour, with their interconnecting canal sections between. The brief from The Waterways Trust was to capture the journey in real time, using nine models including supervision from qualified Canoe Guide Donald MacPherson. The group wild camped along the route & the images showed the group enjoying  the mood of the landscape, the changing weather and the sublime atmosphere of the Great Glen.
