How To Save a Life

The Police arrived at my door one day to inform me my partner Melanie had suffered a sudden cardiac arrest and was in hospital on life support, and I was to accompany them there immediately. Nursing staff in the ICU offered me a diary to use, informing me that: "...some relatives find it useful as times like this can be a confusing experience, keeping a diary may help you to gather your thoughts..." However I declined their offer and instead used a small camera, to try to record and make sense of what was happening. These images tell that story...
