The Titanic

Stan Fraser's 1/10th scale model (98 feet long)

Stan Fraser and his family had lived in a mobile home in their garden whilst their house was being renovated in Inverness. Eventually they moved into the house and Stan decided to turn the old caravan into a scale model of Titanic. At its heart the old 'van became a replica of 'The Café Parisien' just like in the real Titanic.  Stan's children used it as a den, and the family had their Christmas dinners & parties in it. Sadly Stan died a few years after he had more-or-less completed it, but it remains as a testament to one man's passion for boats and in particular the huge ocean liners of last century.
